On June 23, 2025, we lost an incredible soul, a devoted father, loyal friend, patient teacher, and one of the funniest, most genuine people you could ever meet, Leonardo Baca. After a courageous four-year battle with lung cancer, Leo passed away surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind his two beloved children, Emma (14) and Ryan (4).

Leo was known for his quick wit, warm smile, and the rare ability to lift spirits even in the darkest times. His humor brightened every room, and his strength in the face of illness was inspiring. Leo also poured his heart into Emma and Ryan, always wanting to give them a bright, secure future filled with opportunity and love. Now, we want to help carry that wish forward.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to support Emma and Ryan’s future education. Every dollar raised will be transferred directly into their existing 529 education savings accounts. This is our way of honoring Leo’s legacy by helping ensure his children have the future he envisioned — one filled with opportunity, stability, and support.
