In Loving Memory of Lee — Help Support Rachel & Her Family

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out to ask for support for our dear friend Rachel, who is going through something no one should ever have to face.

A few weeks ago, Rachel’s beloved fiancé Lee passed away suddenly from a heart attack. He was in his early 40s — far too young — and his passing has left Rachel, her two children, and everyone who loved him completely heartbroken.

Lee wasn’t just Rachel’s partner — he was her soulmate. After years of struggling to find a loving and respectful partner, Rachel finally found someone who made her feel safe, cherished, and deeply loved. Lee adored Rachel and embraced her two children as his own, enjoying time together with lots of laughter and love.

Sadly, Lee had no savings, life insurance, or will in place. He was estranged from his family, so there’s no financial help available to cover the funeral. The cost of the funeral alone is £3,500, which has placed a huge burden on Rachel and her loved ones.

Rachel is now a single parent, working part-time, and the costs of saying goodbye to Lee properly — while continuing to support her children — are more than she can manage alone.

We’re hoping to raise funds to help with:

Funeral costs (£3,500)

A small wake to honour Lee’s life

Support for Rachel during time off work

Help with everyday bills and food for her and the kids

A future trip to Cornwall to scatter Lee’s ashes — a final goodbye
