In Loving Memory of Latisha Keirsey
I’m starting this fundraiser in hopes of helping the family mourn and comfort each other without the added pressure and stress of worrying about final expenses and the future of Latisha’s daughter, Manhattan.
If you knew Latisha, you knew she was an amazing mother, friend and co-worker. She was always supporting her daughter and her daughter’s friends. She was at every birthday drive-by, every school event and was always first to offer help and support... it makes sense that her career path was of the same. As a Sergeant in the 76th Precinct, she had the respect of everyone of her colleagues and worked with care and compassion.
Latisha passed away on Wednesday, May 19th, after succumbing to scleroderma, a rare illness she fought for many years. Her passing has left all of us devastated....but mostly her beloved 9 year old daughter.
As the caring and generous woman that Latisha was, we need to honor her by rallying together on her behalf and do what we can so this beautiful soul can rest peacefully knowing that her daughter will have the support of the community and have every opportunity to grow and succeed in life.
If it is within your means, will you please consider donating to this family?
I am grateful you took the time to read this and I would like to thank you in advance for your generosity.
