It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lamoni H. Mora (“El Pelon”), beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, and brother. Pelon passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2026, at the age of 51. He is survived by his loving wife, Dyna; his four children, Olivia, LJ, Gaby, and Sebastian; and his grandchildren, Eliza, Maddux, Aliah, Ailani, and Caspian, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

Lamoni was a devoted father and husband who took great pride in providing for his family and always helping others. A master craftsman, he was known for his exceptional trim carpentry. He chose a profession like Christ, a carpenter, and lived a life full of service. Lamoni loved fishing and music. Each year, he hosted his cherished “boys-only” birthday fishing trip, creating memories filled with laughter and stories. He loved all music genres and always had music playing. Pelon was an amazing storyteller and loved telling a good joke.

Though he appeared tough on the outside, those who knew him knew he was a big softy with a heart of gold. He loved deeply, gave generously. He was a shepherd who always looked for the lost sheep.

We know he is with the Lord now and will be our guardian angel. Lamoni will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
