In Loving Memory of Lacy ❤️
Lacy was a beloved little gray mare who lived on a family farm in Shawnee, Kansas, where her family has cared for horses for over 60 years. Tragically, Lacy's life was cut short when she escaped her farm and was shot and killed by local police. Her loss has left her family heartbroken, especially her owner, who shared that Lacy reminded her of the first gray mare she received when she was just 10 years old. We are coming together to honor Lacy's memory, raise awareness about the importance of humane animal handling, and help prevent tragedies like this from happening to another horse. Funds raised will go toward supporting Lacy's family and hopefully helping them welcome another beautiful gray mare into their lives. Let's turn this heartbreaking loss into something positive and make sure Lacy's story is never forgotten. ❤️
