Hi everyone - Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this. I am creating a GoFundMe page to help cover some of the expenses for not only Kristen's unexpected passing, but to help Frank and the DeLuca family as a whole.
Anyone who was able to attend the services a couple weekends ago could see the incredible impact Kristen had made on the lives of so many. She was so loved and deserving of help now that she is gone and cannot provide for her family on her own.
For those of you who do not know, Kristen's husband, Frank DeLuca, has been suffering from brain cancer for several years. He and Kristen were in the process of moving into an apartment the weekend before she passed away. With Kristen no longer being able to care for Frank and his condition, I am starting this collection as a way to help the immediate family take care of Frank's medical expenses and continue to provide care for their father/brother/uncle, etc.
All money raised and collected will be in the direct hands of Kristen's loving and responsible son, Brad. The hope is that he can use this fund as an additonal resource for the continued care of Frank.
In the words of Kristen on Facebook in 2016,
"My kids are making us proud everyday and the grand~babies....well they are just my everything!!!! We look at all we have walked through together!!! You are forced to learn to take a hard look at yourself!!! Your priorities get put in order quickly....funny how that works. We have stared death in the eyes between the 2 of us more occasions than ever imagined but we have fought and we are learning we are stronger than either of us ever imagined. I'm grateful for all of the love and support that my/our friends have showered upon us. It's good to be alive!!!"
