Our family is heartbroken to share the unexpected passing of Kim Duerson, born July 5, 1958. Kim was truly one of a kind—outgoing, full of laughter, and always the best-dressed man in any room. He took pride in looking sharp, loved trying new restaurants, and could spend hours listening to good music. Wherever Kim went, he brought joy, conversation, and unforgettable energy.

Kim attended Reitz High School, and throughout his life, he stayed connected to the people he loved. He cherished family time above everything. His children and grandchildren were his entire world. If you knew Kim, you knew how deeply he loved his family and how much we all loved him right back.

His passing was sudden, and while we are still awaiting the final autopsy report, doctors believe it may have been a heart attack. Losing him so unexpectedly has left our family devastated emotionally and suddenly burdened with funeral expenses we were not prepared for. We are asking for support—big or small—to help us give Kim the beautiful, respectful homegoing he deserves.
