In Loving Memory of Kierra Reichert.

On July 19th our beloved community member Kierra Reichert tragically passed away in a devastating car accident. The hearts of family, friends and close community are shattered. We are deeply grieving the loss of our beautiful Kierra. The outpouring of love, prayers, and support is appreciated more than you can imagine by Kierra’s family (Nancy Juergens, Joe Reichert and Raiff Reichert) during this incredibly difficult time.

Kierra recently completed her freshman year at the University of Nevada, Reno Honors College. She was spending the precious summer months reconnecting with family and friends while working full-time for the U.S. Forest Service and part-time at the Pony Expresso.

Kierra's friends sorely miss her. In the midst of their grief, they describe her beautiful soul as spontaneous, uninhibited, a free spirit, up for anything, a goofball, and someone who never held back. Her teachers remember her as a super smart, hard-working, self-disciplined student.

Kierra had high standards and she met them fueled by her own drive. She was an adventurer and talented athlete, skiing, hiking and running in Alaska and in the Methow Valley.

Kierra loved horsemanship. This was an arena where her love of animals, strength and determination all came together. Her kind nature and magnetic personality touched everyone she encountered. Her absence will be deeply felt for many years to come.

During this difficult time, Kierra's loved ones will continue to cherish her memory, celebrating her remarkable life and the immeasurable impact she had on those around her. The legacy of this extraordinary young woman will live on through the joy she brought and the love she shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
