In Loving Memory of Kenneth Weber

Dear friends and supporters,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Kenneth Weber, a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many. Kenneth, born on August 30th, 1955, was known for his immense capacity to love and his generous heart, despite the language barrier with him being deaf. Unfortunately, after almost 5 months with Stage 4 Spindle Cell Angio Sarcoma, Kenneth lost his brave battle on Monday, June 26th.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family, who have stood by Kenneth throughout his journey, providing unwavering support and care. Now, in their time of grief, we have established this GoFundMe campaign to rally support and help alleviate the financial burdens they face in the aftermath of their father’s/husband’s passing.
Kenneth is survived by an immediate family of three loving children, Robert, Richard, and Sylvia, who are all triplets and only 19 years old, and a wife, Monica, who is also deaf. These past few months have been especially difficult for the family as the cancer grew aggressive, and the process was immensely difficult both for Kenneth and his fight, and for the mental health of his surrounding family, and now his three children, who are in college, are left without their father, the rock of their family. The funds raised will be used to cover the expenses associated with the funeral, legal fees, and preserving ownership of their cars. Additionally, a portion will go towards the cremation costs, ensuring a dignified farewell for Kenneth. We also aim to provide financial assistance to the family to help supplement their lost income during this challenging period of transition.
Personal Anecdote from his Son, Robert Weber:
Growing up, we never had a lot of money. My father always made sure to emphasize to us that we needed to save our money for the future, while he was working to just keep us off the streets. He would save up all year just to get all three of us and my mom a couple of Christmas presents. Sometimes during Christmas he would buy us the occasional random item. It’d always be something we never asked for, but needed. He was observant like that.
If you ask anyone what his greatest achievements were, it’d be his kids. After watching the karate kid movie at a young age, my brother and I brought up that we wanted to do karate lessons, then later it changed to baseball, and even guitar. He would put us in those classes or teams even if it meant spending what little we had. During elementary and middle school, I remember he would always, without fail, be the first person in line to pick up his kids. Always greeting us and the teachers with his goofy smile that I’ll never forget. Also, even though he was deaf he made sure to go to all my brother's plays. My dad would always ask me during the play “what are they saying? Is he singing well?” and I’d see him shed the occasional tear. Despite the language barrier and his disability, he showed immense support and love to his kids. My father always tried to be there for us.
Just before his passing, he didn't want to go. He wanted to see us grow up and start families and jobs of our own. He wanted to support us in every step. His last birthday wish was for his kids to have big and bright futures. I assume he also wanted to be there to witness it. He deserved countless ‘best dad ever’ mugs.
Kenneth's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him. He was a shining example of resilience, kindness, love, and support. His memory will forever inspire us to embrace love and compassion in our own lives.
Let us come together to honor Kenneth's legacy, celebrating the love and strength he embodied throughout his life. Your generosity will not only help alleviate the financial burden but also provide comfort and support to his grieving family as they navigate this new chapter.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, compassion, and support during this challenging time.
