Dear friends and family,
It deeply saddens us to announce that Keith Crawford passed away on the 9/13/2019 after a weeks long struggle against complications that developed from being struck by another vehicle while on his motorcycle on Lincoln Blvd. in Venice Beach. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and the LAPD is investigating. We'll be sure to share any updates as we receive them.
Keith was a good man, a great father, and is survived by his only son, Jason Crawford. He loved his work in the Los Angeles automobile industry and spoke often and always smiling of his antics with his coworkers at Stokes Tires and all his previous places of employment; maintaining friendships going back decades with former coworkers.
This was unexpected and shocking to say the least. Keith’s son, Jason, lives outside of the U.S. and has been at his father’s side throughout this whole ordeal. There is much lost income and many loose ends to tie up. Jason is also trying to get an emergency visa for his wife, Maritza, which is going through attorneys at this time.
This GoFundMe is to help pay for bills, attorney fees (both for the accident and investigation of the hit and run accident), travel costs, taxes, medical bills, and all other debt caused by this tragedy. At the moment all of these expenses fall solely on Jason.
