Feed 100 Rescue Dogs in KayKay’s Honor. A $30 donation can feed one dog in a shelter for a month

KayKay is now in doggie heaven.

It happened suddenly on April 27th. She collapsed unexpectedly, and we rushed her to the vet as fast as we could. After draining her chest twice, an ultrasound revealed that a cancerous tumor on her heart had burst and was overwhelming her heart.

Our hearts broke in that moment.

We are devastated by the loss, but deeply grateful we were able to be with her until the very end.

KayKay was so much more than a dog. She was smart, kind, athletic, snuggly, and endlessly loving. She followed us everywhere, made us laugh daily, and gave us the kind of unconditional love only a dog can give.

Anyone who met her understood how special she was.

When we adopt them, we all know the deal — it’s never long enough. But this happened so suddenly, and it left our family heartbroken.

In honor of KayKay, we want to turn some of that heartbreak into something meaningful.

Our goal is to help feed 100 rescue dogs waiting for safety, care, and a forever home. Every donation will go toward food and support for organizations helping dogs in need.

KayKay gave us years of love we will never forget. We hope her story can now help other dogs get the chance she had.
