Kathy showed what all life has to offer during a fight with cancer. She showed up to Mariners Church Preschool with a burst of energy to chase toddlers' impulses to loving moments of learning. Kathy was full of life and laughter. Her connections with our families helped build trust and confidence with God's most prized human beings. Young children were eager to see their Ms. Kathy! Staff could depend on Kathy to give perspective on life worth living. She taught us to keep humor close to the heart and wine in our glasses at the end of the day. This outcome of her being promoted to glory never crossed our minds during her fight as we saw the life and fight in her! Her bouncy curls and laughter can still be heard in our memories! Although we miss her terribly, Jesus has another good one at the table to spread His love to all those young babies in heaven.
