In Loving Memory of Karen Yejin Jang

On July 16th, 2025, we unexpectedly and tragically lost Karen Yejin Jang, only 21 years old—a day before she was to return from Korea to her hometown in Los Angeles.

Karen was the sweetest and most radiant soul, spreading love to those around her as a beloved daughter, sister, and friend. Anyone who knew her could see how kind, joyful, and full of light she was.

We would greatly appreciate any contributions to help support the Jang family during this incredibly difficult time, to ease some of the burden from their shoulders and provide them as much space and time to grieve.

A private funeral was held in Korea, but we would additionally love to honor Karen's life in the city that she grew up and lived out her memories in as well. Please join us in a commemoration on Saturday, August 2nd, in Los Angeles to gather and celebrate her life and share our memories - at Vista Hermosa Park from 1pm.
