In Loving Memory of Kaitlynn Williams-Ruxton

On Friday August 20, 2021 the world suddenly lost a beautiful soul. A mother lost her daughter, a little girl lost her mother, siblings lost their baby sister, and I lost my best friend. I never imagined that I'd be writing this Go Fund Me because I never imagined that I would lose my baby sister. First and foremost, let me explain the kind of woman Kaitlynn was...

Kaitlynn was a loving, generous and beautiful woman. She attended Hillcrest Community School and Forest Hill Secondary School in Toronto. After moving to Thunder Bay, she was a Political Science major at Lakehead University graduating with honors in 2017. Moving on to work as a Law Clerk with Cupello & Company law firm. In July 2020, she joined Tikinagan Child and Family Services as a began working as an Intake and Investigations Worker. Kaitlynn loved visiting her family in Toronto and made many friends during her time living in Thunder Bay. She loved the water and playing baseball with her team the Brew Jays.

Kaitlynn's loss not only leaves everyone who knew her grieving but leaves a ten-year old girl without her mother through all the milestones she has ahead of her like celebrating her sweet sixteen, helping to pick and visit colleges. Anyone who knew Kaitlynn knows how much her daughter meant to her. She worked hard to give her a good life and gave her endless love.

Many people have reached out asking how they can contribute towards her daughter's future. I created this Go Fund Me for that purpose. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received. It is a true reflection of the love and light she brought into the world.
