On May 23rd our dear friend Amber tragically lost her 2 ½ year old son, Kailo.
Kailo’s life was taken in a senseless act of violence. Amber’s partner, Kailo’s father, killed their young son before taking his own life.
Friends have surrounded Amber with love and support while she tries to cope with this loss.
The circumstances surrounding Kailo’s death have left Amber, a stay-at-home mom, without a place to live or financial resources.
A local funeral home has generously offered to cover the funeral expenses, which we are overwhelmingly grateful for.
We are asking for donations to help ease the burden Amber faces and to allow her precious time to begin the healing process. All donations will go toward Amber’s living expenses (including moving, housing, and ongoing therapy). Our hope is to raise enough money to make it possible for Amber to take on these challenges without causing any more pain or instability in her life.
