With deep sadness, we share the loss of Jwala Tummalapalli, who passed away last Thursday at the age of 53 after a sudden diagnosis and struggle Stage 4 cancer. What began as a simple muscle cramp in November quickly turned into a life-threatening illness, and his life was tragically cut short.
Jwala came to the United States in 2014 and dedicated himself to supporting his family. He cared for and helped his loved ones with both guidance and financial support. He was always helping others, quietly and generously.
Even after major surgery, Jwala returned to work just 15 days later, showing incredible strength. As his condition worsened, he was taken to Houston for additional medical care. Tragically, his organs began failing, and he passed away in Houston on January 22nd, and was cremated the next day in the presence of his family and many that had the pleasure of calling him their friend.
Jwala leaves behind his wife, who does not work, and two children—one who recently graduated college and can support himself, and a younger daughter who is preparing to start college.
This GoFundMe aims to provide immediate relief to Jwala’s family during this devastating time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference.
Let’s honor Jwala’s life by supporting the family he loved so deeply.
