In Loving Memory of Justen Lay - A life Cut Short by Tragedy

SAVE A LIFE, DON'T DRINK & DRIVE. It's too late for our loved one, but we hope to continue spreading awareness about the tragic and permanent consequences for those who continue to disobey the law. Complete transparency, on August 22nd, 2025, our loved one's life was tragically taken from us. He was riding a bicycle when a driver, while intoxicated and speeding, hit him. He was then struck by another oncoming vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene. This information was presented to us on his birthday (August 29th, 2025), exactly one week after his death. Over the time elapsed, we worried frantically that we had not heard from him. After two days, the normalcy of not hearing from him, and once no one had seen or heard from him and all social media outlets came up empty, we filed a missing person's report. We checked all hospitals, and dreaded the final alternative, checking the city morgues. No family or friend should EVER have to receive the information we heard. Our loved one's body laid there, cold and lifeless in the morgue. The horror, the pain, the plea for help struck us all. Now we celebrate his birthday without his Big Cheesy face, the love he shared, and the life he lived. He leaves behind a son, sisters, nieces and nephews, cousins, and tons of friends.
Please help us lay him to rest. This moment took an unexpected turn in our lives to the fullest. We are seeking assistance with all funeral home expenses, memorial services, and burial services. Thank you from our family to all of you.
Please share the word, SAVE A LIFE, DON'T DRINK & DRIVE!!
