In Loving Memory of Judy Pickens – Funeral Fund
Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we share the loss of our beloved mother, Judy Pickens. Judy was more than just a mother – she was a radiant source of love, laughter, and warmth. To everyone who knew her, she brought joy, kindness, and unwavering support. Her infectious spirit and compassion touched countless lives, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
One of Judy’s greatest joys in life was dancing. Whether it was a simple tune playing in the background or a special moment shared with loved ones, she couldn’t resist moving to the music. Her love for dancing reflected her free-spirited nature and her ability to find joy in the little things. She had a way of making every moment feel lighthearted and full of life, and we’ll always remember her dancing with a smile that could light up any room.
Judy was also known for her deep faith and dedication to her church community, where she served proudly as the First Lady of Pilgrim Branch Missionary Baptist Church. She embraced this role with grace, offering love, encouragement, and leadership to all who were blessed to know her. Her strength and compassion within the church inspired many, and her legacy will continue to touch lives within the congregation and beyond.
As we navigate this difficult time, so many have reached out asking how they can offer support. We are incredibly grateful for your love and care, and after much thought, we have set up this GoFundMe to help cover the funeral and memorial expenses. If Judy ever touched your life in any way – whether through her kindness, her laughter, her dancing, her leadership as First Lady, or her beautiful soul – we kindly ask that you consider contributing. Your generosity will help us honor her memory in the most meaningful way.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us as we say goodbye to the extraordinary woman who meant the world to us. Your support during this time of mourning means more than words can express.
With love and gratitude,
