A few words on behalf of my mom Emy

“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, Juanita Montes. Although we knew this day would eventually come, nothing could have prepared us for the pain we are feeling now. God knew that our hearts would never truly be ready to say goodbye, but He also knew that she needed rest.

Juanita was a woman of incredible strength who faced many challenges, adversities, and illnesses throughout her life. Through it all, she carried herself with courage, determination, and a wonderful sense of humor that could brighten any room.

Many of you know that although she was my biological grandmother, we have always called her Mom. She was always there for us, standing by our side with unconditional love, guidance, and support. Family meant everything to her.

She found joy in the simple things in life sharing laughter, drinking coffee, cooking for those she loved, playing bingo, and staying up late with my sister and me. Some of our most cherished memories are the nights we spent together looking through her bags filled with old family photos, reliving stories and memories, and ending the night with ice cream. Those moments will forever live in our hearts.

While we are deeply grateful for the 90 beautiful years we were blessed to have with her, we are also heartbroken by how quickly her health declined. Her passing has left an immense void in our lives that can never truly be filled.

As many of you know, the suddenness of this loss has also brought unexpected financial challenges. During this difficult time, we humbly ask for any support you may be able to offer. No amount is too small every contribution truly helps and is deeply appreciated.
