In Loving Memory of Juana Calderon

Donation protected
Our family would like to announce the heartbreaking death of our mother Juana Calderon. Our beloved mother gained her wings on the morning of December 4th. In a matter of weeks, our lives have been turned upside down by losing both our parents to COVID. Although we are devastated by this loss, we wholeheartedly believe that they are now reunited eternally.

Our mother dedicated her life to taking care of her children, grandchildren, our father, and our grandparents. She was the queen of our home and treated her sanctuary as a welcoming place for all those that needed a hot meal. Her music and personality truly brought others to her, and made them lifelong friends and even family. She also had a love for dogs that only her daughter Lupita, and granddaughter Julissa could appreciate. She never gave them up, she cared for her dogs like they were her own children.

As a pillar to the Pilsen community, Juanita was known to many for the way she smiled, her contagious laugh, and how loud she played her music in front of her home. The Pilsen community knew her for having a speaker in front of her house, sitting and enjoying the company of many who passed by.

We know that it is once again that we are asking for assistance, but losing both parents 3 weeks apart has left us with unbearable pains both emotionally and physically. We cannot explain how grateful we are for those who already donated to our father’s burial. We are asking family and friends to please help us give our mother the proper burial she deserves. We thank you wholeheartedly for the love and compassion you have already bestowed for our dad and now our mom.

Thank you Gracias
