It is with deep sadness that we share the sudden and heartbreaking passing of our dear teammate, Juan Gil, who tragically lost his life in an accident. Juan had been part of our team for the last three years, and during that time, he became much more than a colleague. He was a kind, friendly, dedicated, and genuinely good person who brought warmth and positivity to everyone around him.

Juan played an instrumental role in implementing many impactful features and functionalities, and his contributions will continue to be remembered by all of us who had the privilege of working with him. Beyond his technical contributions, Juan was someone people enjoyed working with. He was approachable, helpful, thoughtful, and always willing to support others. His presence made our team better, and his loss has deeply affected all of us.

We are creating this fundraiser to support Juan’s family during this incredibly difficult time. The funds raised will help his loved ones with immediate needs, family support, and other costs that may arise as they navigate this unexpected tragedy. Since Juan’s family is in Argentina and GoFundMe does not currently support direct withdrawals there, I will be withdrawing the funds and transferring the full amount directly to Juan’s brother on behalf of the family. We want to be fully transparent with everyone contributing: all donations will go toward supporting Juan’s family.
