Hello, my name is Alize Abarca. I am the daughter of Juan Carlos Abarca Valencia. I’m 19 years old, and on Friday, February 20th, my father was tragically taken from us in a fatal car accident after another driver failed to stop at a red light. He was simply trying to make it back home after completing his last Uber order working hard, like he always did, to provide for his family.

My dad leaves behind his two children, myself and my younger brother, Aaden. He was a loving, kind, and incredibly hardworking father who always put us first. Losing him so suddenly has shattered our world, and we are still trying to process this unimaginable pain. We are asking for help to cover funeral and memorial expenses, along with other unexpected costs that come with such a sudden loss.
