Hi, everyone. My name’s Omar. I am Atilano Duarte “Jr” brother. Jr had an accident about 2 months ago where he was struck by a car at night as he was walking home. The vehicle was driving so fast that it sent him immediately to the hospital with almost no life. The person in the vehicle refused to check up on him ; lied to police and refused to ask questions. The person in the vehicle is still under investigation. My brother suffered broken bones and, had multiple surgeries, including multiple surgeries in his head. He had infections in his head to the point where doctors couldn’t do more. If he would miraculously live, he would have been in a vegetative state. Unfortunately, my brother has passed away on 12/12/2025. Jr was just 29 years old when he departed from this world, my youngest sibling. He is now resting in peace beside our Heavenly Father. Jr was a good guy. He had a big heart towards the people he loved. Rain or shine, he was always optimistic. He loved to talk about religion. He was very down to earth. This go fund me is created to lay him to rest. It will cover the costs of the burial, ceremony, medical bills etc. if you can find it in your heart to donate, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
