In Loving Memory of Joy Almaiza Reid
Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of Joy Almaiza Reid, who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 6. Joy was a radiant soul who brought love, laughter, and happiness to everyone around her. Her presence lit up every room, and her joyful spirit was felt by all who knew her.
Joy had a passion for many things—she loved music, dancing, swimming, and Karate, where she showed her strength and determination. She adored the colors pink and purple and had a special fondness for pizza, Mandarin, mini muffins, and lip balm. Joy’s playful nature extended to dressing up as Wonder Woman and enjoying crafts and painting.
Her bond with her big brother Xavier was a beautiful example of sibling love, and she was cherished by her mommy and grandpa. Joy also found connection and joy through events with Autism Ontario, where she felt at home with others who understood her. Whether it was a trip to Great Wolf Lodge, a fun day at the park, or simply watching a rainbow, Joy embraced life with enthusiasm.
Though her time with us was far too short, Joy’s impact was profound. She truly lived up to her name, bringing joy and light to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will forever live on in our hearts.
We ask for your support to help Joy’s family during this difficult time. Your donations will honor her spirit and legacy. Thank you for keeping Joy’s joy alive.
