My name is Harley Patricio, It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I am creating this gofundme for the passing of my loving brother Joshua Patricio, affectionately known to many as JP. On May 13, 2023 I received the worst phone call anyone could ever receive of a loved one passing suddenly and unexpectedly, and at that moment all of our lives have changed forever. Telling our mother the news the day before Mother's day. He was a genuine, loving, compassionate father, son, brother and friend to many that loved and cherished his family immensely. Joshua was a charismatic, gifted, talented, artistic, musician, wise young man with an infectious smile, light and energy that would light up every room he stepped foot in, and the biggest heart I have ever witnessed and it showed as he was loved and respected by so many. He never complained and was always in good spirits always full of optimism.

He was 61 days clean and so very proud of himself. He wanted nothing more than to spend time with his daughter Amilah. She was his motivation to get clean and he did it. He had such a huge heart and always helped everyone without expectations.

Unfortunately, on Saturday, May 13th he opened the door to his apartment to a couple of homeless girls that needed a warm place to sleep for the night and a shower and that's all we know. My family has been completely left in the dark about what is going on. We still have never got the chance to view him, identify him or anything. All we know is that there is an investigation going on for possible foul play. My brother got clean and was proud of himself. He had a plan, to take the steps to be with his daughter and then move out of the area to start his new life and pursue music.

It is heartbreaking

, He worked hard to get to a place where he was able to take the necessary steps toward reuniting with his daughter and when he finally accomplished it his life was taken from him.

His sudden passing has left us all heartbroken and struggling to come to terms with this unimaginable loss.

As we try to navigate this difficult time, we are faced with unexpected funeral expenses. All donations are greatly appreciated to help us give him the memorial service and celebration of life that he deserves.

He is survived by his daughter Amilah, mother Feling, father Jose, sister Harley, and brothers Juan and Mikey.
