In Loving Memory of Jose Zarate
Donation protected
On July 20, 2025, the world lost a hard worker, a loving father, and a caring husband, Jose Zarate.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing Jose knew there was never a sad or dull moment being around him. You could hear his laughter before even seeing him. He was always his genuine self, no matter where he was.
To some, he was a mentor, reminding us not to take shortcuts because our hard work pays off. To others, he was the life of the party, reminding us to always smile, laugh, and tell loved ones how much we loved one another. Jose loved life, loved his work, and loved everyone.
He taught his children that everyone is human, each with their own unique stories and struggles, who always deserved a kind ear to listen to. He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back, no matter how briefly you knew him. Jose loved to greet his dogs before his family when he would come back from work because he would appreciate them for taking care of us while he was away. Jose's way of showing his love was not what he could do, but what he was willing to do, no matter the limit.
On any given day, you could find Jose sitting in his backyard listening to music, just watching the sun set or the stars shining. He was content with the simple things in life and didn't need any consolation other than the fact that those he loved were making him proud.
Jose leaves behind his wife and three children. We would like to give him the memorial he would have wanted, a simple gathering of friends and family to celebrate him. Because of his unexpected passing, we are actively fundraising to help cover the costs of the funeral. Any contribution, no matter the amount, is welcome and is very much appreciated.
