It is with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved cousin. What started as a cough on Saturday quickly turned into pneumonia. On Sunday, doctors discovered he had leukemia. In just a matter of hours, our lives changed forever. Sadly, his heart failed, and we lost him last night.

Jose was a brother, a son, a friend, and the funniest person you could have in your life. While he had a one-in-a-million personality, he was still the most dependable, hard-working person you could know.

Our family is still trying to process how something so sudden could take someone we love so deeply. He was kind, full of life, and meant so much to all of us.
