With heavy hearts we announce that Renato Reategui has passed away. He is survived by five children and many others who deeply love him and were loved by him. Renato was not only a father, son, partner, brother, or friend, but also a mentor and someone who helped others without questions. Due to complications of COVID, Renato spent the last month in ICU battling this virus and what it unleashed on his body. We are thankful for the attentive staff at Cedars-Sinai who were diligent in their care and were kind and helpful to his family. Fortunately, the family were allowed to visit and Renato passed away surrounded with love. His memory will continue to be surrounded with love as we mourn his loss. Due to this tragedy, we are asking if anyone is willing to help in the expenses for his funeral services. Anything that remains will go to his medical expenses and his children. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you. If you are unable to share a monetary amount, please share a story of him. Renato will continue to live on in our memories and stories of him.
