In loving memory of Jose Padilla
Jose Padilla was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He’s left a huge hole in our hearts after his unexpected death at the age of only 51. After a month long fight with COVID-19 he lost the battle on August 5th, 2021 at 10:42 AM but the man went down swinging like the fighter we all know he was. He fought hard until the end but we all know what this vicious virus is capable of. Jose was the pilar and backbone of his family. A selfless man who was always willing to help anyone and everyone. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and put anyone before himself especially when it came to his family. It’s honestly hard writing about him in the past tense and trying to put into words the man that he was and what he means to his loved ones because anything I say will fall short of who he really was. He was and will forever be his grandson’s favorite superhero and his daughters’ first love. His sons’ viejito. His wife’s honey and his mom’s chaparrito. Chivas’ number one fan and just an amazing man all around. We come to you as a family in these difficult times and ask you to ease the painful process of laying this wonderful man to rest. May you always Rest In Peace Jose Padilla, we will never forget you!
