In Loving Memory Of Jose Alejandro Laris “Alex”

In Memory of Jose Alejandro Laris (Alex)

Born September 16, 1992
Entered Heaven May 12, 2025, at 5:21 PM

On May 12, 2025, at 5:21 PM, our angel returned to Heaven. Since the day he was born, Alex was different. He was different in a way that his presence impacted us all. Jose Alejandro Laris, known to us simply as Alex, was a 32-year-old special needs adult, but to everyone who knew him, he was so much more. He was our Special Angel. His passing was completely unexpected and has left a deep ache in our hearts. Even though he had limited speech, Alex communicated with so much love through his smile, his hugs, his energy. He had a way of lighting up any room he entered and making people feel truly seen and loved.

Alex had a heart full of warmth and joy. He adored his family deeply. He was especially close to his mom, who was his world, and his sister, who he’d call every morning just to say hello. His love for his dad, brothers, aunts, and uncles was just as strong. He would greet them with a big smile and a big hug every time he saw them. He had a special bond with all his younger cousins and nephews, and his joy in being around them was clear in every moment.

One of the highlights of Alex’s life was attending his special needs program. He absolutely loved going and being around his friends, laughing with the staff, and just enjoying the routine and the people who made him feel safe and loved. His joy was contagious, and he made a lasting impact on everyone there with his kind heart, playful energy, and gentle spirit. The friendships he built and the connections he made meant so much to him and to them.

He also loved helping with anything he could, especially making TikTok videos with his mom. His sister created his very own TikTok account, where they shared sweet and endearing moments that captured his gentle and joyful spirit.

Music was everything to Alex. He loved dancing, jamming on the piano or guitar with his cousin, and simply enjoying the rhythm of a good beat. He loved food, superhero movies like Spider-Man and Iron Man, and shows like iCarly and El Chavo del Ocho, especially when he got to watch them with his cousin Junior. Those shared moments meant the world to him.

Alex may not have spoken much, but the way he loved with full presence and pure heart spoke volumes. He brought joy, love, and light to every space he entered. His memory lives on in every life he touched, and we will forever carry him in our hearts.

All donations will go toward funeral and memorial expenses, as well as helping his family find peace and space to grieve without the added weight of financial stress.

If you are able, any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a difference. And if you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this page and keeping Alex in your thoughts means the world to us.

Thank you for helping us honor the life of our special angel. He gave so much love in his 32 years, and now we have the chance to show love in return.
