In Loving Memory of Jorge Mario Yax Reynoso

Hello, my name is Gabriela and I am the youngest daughter of Jorge and Silvia. I have created this GoFundMe in hopes of alleviating the financial burden on my mother, during this heart-wrenching moment in our lives.

On January 11th, 2023 we experienced the devastating loss of Jorge Mario Yax Reynoso -a husband, dad, son, brother and grandfather. After a detrimental six-year-long battle with kidney failure, my father went into cardiac arrest before we got the chance to celebrate the new year together. Unfortunately, my father was placed permanently on life support following the devastating prognosis. Although we had hoped for a miracle, his body continued to deteriorate with each passing day.

Jorge was pure light and joy in this world. Today many of us mourn his death around the world. My father had immigrated to the United States in hopes of a better life for not only himself but his family. There will never be enough words to appreciate the sacrifices my father made to provide for his loved ones. Jorge leaves behind his wife, three daughters, and a one-day-old granddaughter, who he never got the pleasure of meeting.

Our family is seeking donations to help cover funeral expenses and arrangements as we do not have the means to provide for his sudden loss. Donations will go straight to help us lay my father to rest.
