On the morning of March 2nd, 2026, the world lost a truly remarkable young man. Jonah Saitta was 16 years old, full of wit and warmth and possessed a quiet, grounded energy that made everyone around him feel at ease. His passing was sudden and unexpected as he lost his battle with depression. The grief his family, friends, and community are carrying right now is immeasurable.
Jonah was the kind of kid who made you smile without even trying. He loved video games, Japanese Culture, and trying new food. He had a gift for reading a room. A room full of thirsty classmates became a business opportunity because Jonah had hustle. He was entrepreneurial, thoughtful, and already dreaming about his future. Jonah wanted to travel after High School graduation and was envisioning a life where he would pursue a career in the forest service or work on oil rigs.
At home, Jonah was a devoted brother, a beloved son, and a gentle soul with the family animals. He recently took a special delight in watching Rogue, the new St. Bernard puppy, grow and become a part of the family. Jonah found joy in the small, beautiful moments of everyday life.
His parents, Angela and Jordan, have spent their lives in service to others and their community. The Saitta family should not have to worry about the sudden burden of burial costs during the most devastating time in their lives. Your donation will help them focus on regaining balance and caring for Jonah's brothers and the rest of the family through this tidal wave of grief. They should not have to worry about finances while they are learning to breathe again.
We are asking for help to help cover burial, associated end of life costs, and to support the family as they grieve.
No amount is too small. Every dollar tells Angela, Jordan, Gabriel, and Reeve that they are not alone. Please give what you can and please share this page. Jonah deserved a long, full life and the least we can do is make sure his family is held during this unbearable time.
Rest easy, Jonah. You are so deeply loved.
