It breaks my heart to share that my uncle, Johnny Winkleman, has passed away.
Johnny was born and raised in Santa Ana, California, and spent his final years living peacefully in the hills above Acapulco, Mexico.
He was a kind and gentle soul who loved life, laughter, and storytelling — there was never a dull moment when Uncle Johnny was around.
Unfortunately, he did not have a life insurance policy or funeral fund, and I have been left to handle the arrangements on my own. The immediate costs — including the autopsy, death certificate, and release of his remains — total around ₱30,500 pesos (about $1,650 USD).
I’m reaching out for help to cover these unexpected expenses and to ensure Uncle Johnny is laid to rest with the dignity and respect he deserves.
Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to me and our family. And if you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your kindness, generosity, and support during this difficult time.
With love and gratitude,
Raquel
