In Loving Memory of John Wolff

John Wolff was a beloved PGA golf teacher, mentor and friend who

recently lost his hard-fought battle with cancer. John was more than a

golf professional, he was someone who made a lasting impact on everyone he met.

John was always happy to come to Golden Gate Park Golf Course whether it was to work, teach or golf. He would greet you with a "Hey buddy" and chat you up about the latest golf tournament or sports event. He always wanted to share his years of golf knowledge and was always willing to help with a quick swing fix on the range or a chipping or putting tip. He would often tell you a story about his days growing up golfing in Santa Cruz or when he was the Head Pro at Moraga Country Club. You could tell just from one conversation with John that he had a passion for life and for a love the game of golf.

Above all, John was a friend to everyone. His kindness, generosity, and genuine care for others defined who he was. He built a community through golf and through simple, everyday acts of connection.

This GoFundMe has been created to support John’s family during thisincredibly difficult time. Donations of any amount are deeply appreciated and will help with his medical and funeral expenses. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday May 3rd 2026 at Golden

Gate Park Golf Course, a place that meant so much to John and to the

many people whose lives he touched there.
