In Loving Memory of John Walter Allen

John Allen, (Johnnie, Yohan) my dad, was born in Mundelein, IL on March 13, 1959. He would have been 64 this year. On Monday night, Feb. 13 around 10pm he passed peacefully in his sleep. My dad was suffering from Early Onset Alzheimer's disease and was diagnosed just over 13 months ago..... 13 his favorite number

John leaves behind his wife, Vicki, his kids, Katie, Kenny, myself Sarah, his adopted grandson Joey, his other grandchildren Zachary, Jocelyn, Brandon, Charlotte, Leonardo and Gwyneth. We all loved him so very much and will miss him desperately. He was the best father/grandfather anyone could ever wish for! Our family is asking in leiu of flowers, for any type of monetary gift to help my mom, Vicki, with final expenses/bills/raising Joey. Unfortunately, due to his disease, my dad did not have any life insurance and my mom is left with a great burden. We will also be using part to make a donation to raise awareness for Early Onset Alzheimer's Please any little bit helps.....my mom is the most selfless and kindest person I know and she could really use the help in this time of need. We will keep everyone updated on a memorial as soon as possible. Thank you so much for everyone's support in this difficult moment.
