As many begin to prepare for the holidays with family, the Rivera family is dealing with the sudden departure of John Rivera. A beloved husband to Gracie of 34 years, father of Leonidas (14) and Luz Marie (11), caretaker of his parents, Juan and Gloria, and adult sister with special needs, Laura. A brain aneurysm determined John's fate on a family weekend trip for the Thanksgiving holiday. Still, his death changed the course of several lives with the organ donations he could provide in his untimely death. John was passionate about his family and fiercely protected his loved ones. In his death, the hope is that we can continue to protect his family and help provide them with the time they need to heal, and less worry of the daily financial burdens that can come with losing someone so suddenly.
