In Loving Memory of John Mendez

We are trying to raise funds for a dear member of our extended Howell Electric family.

John Mendez, a cherished Superintendent, has recently passed away, leaving an unimaginable void in our hearts. John was not only an incredible leader and colleague but also a beloved partner to his fiancée. The funds raised will help cover everyday expenses, giving her the space and time to grieve without the added stress of financial hardship.

We know times are tough for everyone, but any contribution will make a difference. Let's come together to support her and show that she is not alone during this heartbreaking time.

Funeral Services are as follows:

Vigil /Rosary will be held on August 8th, 2024 from 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm, at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 458 Maple St., Livermore.

Funeral Mass will be held on August 9th, 2024 at 11:00 am, at St. Michael's Catholic Church (same address as above)

Interment will be immediately following the Funeral Mass, scheduled for noon at St. Michael's Cemetery, 3885 East Ave, Livermore.

Reception/Celebration of life will be held immediately following the Interment, 1:00 pm at The Club at Ruby Hills Golf Course, 3400 W. Ruby Hill Drive, Pleasanton, CA 94566

For the Vigil/Rosary on August 8th, the family will wear Western attire to reflect John's personality as a rancher who embraced his Mexican culture. He also developed a love for Hawaiian culture after a recent vacation with his fiancée. Together, they were making plans to get married in Hawaii next year. If you would like to join the family in wearing Mexican or Aloha Western wear, you are welcome to do so.

For the Funeral on August 9th, you may join the family in wearing white.
