Hi, I'm Tom, John's nephew.

It is with great sadness that we share that John passed away peacefully in hospital on Friday 31st July 2026.

John was a truly great man. He had a deep love for Liverpool Football Club, a strong passion for politics, and was a proud member of the unions. He enjoyed nothing more than a good pint with friends and was always ready to tell a great story that would bring people together.

Above all, John loved spending time with his family. He meant so much to all of us, and his presence will be deeply missed. On behalf of the family, we will carry his memory with us always.

Sadly, John's passing was unexpected, and we are now faced with the cost of arranging his funeral. We want to give him the respectful and dignified farewell that he deserves, but we cannot do this alone.
