On Friday, January 14th, our dad, John Kerrigan, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 60, with no funeral arrangements set in place.
My dad was a girl dad and grandad. He took us to softball games on Saturday mornings with his 14th street crew, to play basketball in the courtyard across the street from our house and came to all of our dance recitals, including the very first one as a proud Pappou for his granddaughter Kyriaki. He would pay us $5 to massage his back that was way too large for our hands, watch wrestling late at night and of course, cheer on his prized Dallas Cowboys. He mastered his Donald Duck impression, made silly jokes and his wild whistle could be heard from down the block. He was a beloved husband, son and brother, a loving dad, loyal friend, supportive coworker and an adored Pappou. He was the main support system of our family and his passing has left a monumental hole in our lives.
My mom, sisters and I have been so grateful for the love and support shown by all of our friends and family. We thank you sincerely from the bottom of our hearts for standing beside us during this extremely difficult time. We love and miss him so much.
