It is with deep heartbreak that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Johan Marquez, just weeks before his 38th birthday. Born on August 14, 1987, Johan was a proud and devoted father to Sophia and Remy Marquez, a beloved son to Dilenia Marte, and the eldest brother to Janellys and Keylanelys Pimentel. His loss leaves an unimaginable void in our family.

Johan was the kind of person who made everyone feel like family. Whether bringing us together with his humor, lighting up the primo table, or creating joyful memories for his children, Johan carried hope, love, and connection in everything he did. His generosity extended beyond our family—every Thanksgiving and Christmas, Johan would cook and bring meals to those without a home. He was truly the glue that kept so many of us close.
