In Loving Memory of Joey Cardona

On March 12, 2026, Evelio Cardona, lovingly known by most as Joey Cardona, passed away suddenly and is now with Jesus. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.

Joey leaves behind his devoted wife, Cait, and beautiful daughters, Isabelle and Ellie Joe, who were the light of his life.

We are asking our community to rally around this sweet family in prayer during this incredibly difficult time. If you feel led to give, any contribution to this fund will help ease the financial burden of unexpected expenses and the needs that arise during this season of loss.

Joey was a proud oil rig operator who truly loved his job and the crew he worked alongside. One of his favorite parts of the work was the camaraderie — coming together with hardworking men in the field, sharing stories, encouragement, and his faith in Jesus.

At home, Joey cherished the simple moments the most. Early mornings were often spent sitting outside with his wife Cait, reading the Bible together, soaking in the quiet before the day began. He loved watching his little girl play in the yard and treasured every moment spent with his family.

While Joey is no longer with us here, we hold tightly to the promise of faith. We believe that the moment Joey closed his eyes on earth, he opened them in the loving arms of Jesus. Though our hearts ache, we are thankful for God’s promise and the comfort of knowing Joey is home in heaven.
