It is with deepest sadness for us to share that on January 4th 2024, our brother Joe Salmond unexpectedly passed away. Joe was born in Powell River September 11, 1987. He spent his childhood between the Lower Mainland and Edmonton AB. If ever asked, Joe would say his greatest accomplishments in life would be his children. He cherished anytime spent with them. He loved spending his time with his family, camping, being outdoors when possible. He worked many years perfecting his craft with our brothers doing drywall.

We are creating this Go Fund Me to help with the cost of the service that will be held for him (date still to be determined) and to also help support his five children with whatever may come their way. He will be greatly missed, but we know that his spirit and heart will live on within his children and family.

Joe will be cremated this weekend and his ashes will be held with his family until we can all plan a trip to Powell River where his and our dad’s ashes will be spread together.
