In Loving Memory of Jocelyne Duarte: Supporting Her Children

On July 10, 2025, our lives were shattered with an unimaginable heartbreak. Our family is mourning the sudden and devastating loss of our beloved niece, Jocelyne Duarte, 28 years young. She was a beautiful daughter, loving partner, selfless mother of three, an extraordinary sister, and granddaughter.

She leaves behind her three precious children: Adalyn, 6; Olivia, 3; and Julian Lucero, 5 months; and her partner, Kevin Lucero. As we grieve this tremendous loss, we are also coming together to help ensure her children and Kevin have the support they need during this heartbreaking time.

Jocelyne was the kind of person who went above and beyond for everyone, even strangers. She was kind, compassionate, and full of light. Her presence made people feel seen, loved, and cared for.

Jocelyne's passing was sudden and unexpected. What began as a medical issue quickly progressed, and despite efforts to treat it, she developed an infection that ultimately led to sepsis. We are still trying to make sense of it all. We share this, not to dwell on the details, but to help others understand how quickly life can change and how deeply Joccy will be missed.

This GoFundMe is being organized by Anabel Ramos and Juliza Andrade, Jocelyne’s maternal aunts. Funds raised will go directly toward helping her children and her partner with school supplies, clothing, childcare, daily living needs, food, household expenses, and the ongoing expenses the kids will need.
