In Loving Memory of Joanne Baker: Support Righteous Pups

Dear Righteous Pups Family and Community,

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved founding director and inspiring leader, Joanne Baker, who passed in the early hours of Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

Jo’s passion for people shone brightly. Whether you were a volunteer, supporter, or young person connected to Righteous Pups, she saw everyone as unique, talented, and destined for a bright future.

Jo’s vision began in 2003 around a kitchen table, growing Righteous Pups into a national charity based in Bendigo. Through her leadership, countless young people have found support through their schooling, journey to independence, and transition into adulthood.

Jo wished to be remembered for who she was, a kind, passionate soul, while ensuring the charity she built continues to thrive.

In her honour, we’re launching this GoFundMe campaign to carry Righteous Pups into its next chapter, continuing to empower young lives.
