Joanie was a shining ray of love and positivity—always warm, always kind, always full of light. If you knew her, you likely felt it too.

Joan had a deep love for gardening and a special fondness for sunflowers, which so perfectly reflected her sunny personality. She also spent many joyful hours volunteering at the Desert Botanical Garden, a place that meant the world to her.

In lieu of flowers, we are raising donations in her honor. If we reach or exceed our goal, Joan will be recognized with a tribute title at the Archer House at Desert Botanical Gardens—a lasting legacy for someone who gave so much.
