In Loving Memory of Jim Sirmis

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim on December 21, 2021.

 

Jim passed away peacefully at Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill, after a battle with cancer that he faced with courage and dignity. He was fearless and never complained a day in his life because he was the strongest person.

 

Jim is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Bessie (nee Kralidis), son Dimitri, and his friends and family. The love he shared for Bessie and Dimitri is truly indescribable and rare - his eyes would light up with love when it came to them. He would do anything for them including his friends and family. If you ever needed Jim’s help he was the first one there to lend a hand. Jim’s legacy will forever live on in our hearts and our love for him will always be strong.

 

On behalf of Jim, we are raising money to support the Hill House Hospice. This establishment is one of a kind - especially the nurses that were caring and supportive throughout Jim’s time there. They provided the best possible care to Jim, his family, and anyone that entered through the door.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hill House Hospice, which operates primarily on donations, would be appreciated.
