With the heaviest of hearts, on behalf of my family, we share that the passing of our beloved mother, Jewell Helen Belt, occurred on June 11, 2026. Our mother was an innocent, beautiful soul who sacrificed herself greatly for the well-being of her children. She faced many adversities in her life, even as a young girl, but this did not impact her positive and bright spirit. She was a highly intelligent woman who had a life-long passion for learning and educating others. However, her most admirable trait was her unwavering faith in God, which she imparted to her children. It was that very faith that was used to carry us through her health challenges in her final days.

Our mother's cancer and renal failure diagnosis came as a complete shock. We’ve been distraught since then; taking time off of work, attending hospital visits, and devoting our waking moments to her around-the-clock care. She passed away surrounded by her children, which was her last wish.

As we grieve and complete the difficult process of saying our final goodbye, we face challenges related to medical and funeral expenses and the numerous financial burdens that accompany such a devastating loss. We humbly ask for your support to help to ease with these costs and to allow our family more time to focus on honoring our mother's life.
