Mi padre, Jesus “Chucho” Vilchez, era una persona generosa, con un inmenso espíritu de ayudar al que pudiera. Su sentido del humor y amor por la vida eran contagiosos. Tenerlo alrededor era símbolo de que todos pasaríamos un buen rato, con sus bromas y carcajadas.
Lamentablemente, el 20 de junio del 2019, todo cambio. Al intentar comprar un celular durante su hora de almuerzo, un ser cruel decidió quitarle la vida (todo por un celular) e apagar esa sonrisa, esas carcajadas, terminar con todo el amor que el daba como esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano, tío, vecino, e amigo.
Es un momento sumamente difícil e inesperado para la familia y buscamos el apoyo de nuestra comunidad, familia y amigos para buscar justicia como también para darle a mi padre un adiós adecuado y digno de la persona que fue. De antemano, se les agradece cualquier cooperación que puedan brindar, como también las oraciones por nuestra familia y el descanso eterno de esta gran ser humano.
No es un adiós padre, sino un hasta luego. Aunque no estés físicamente presente, vivirás siempre en nuestro corazón. Te despediremos con lágrimas, pero también con una sonrisa y el agradecimiento de haberte tenido con nosotros. ¡Descansa en paz!
My father, Jesus "Chucho" Vilchez, was a generous person, with an immense spirit of always helping anyone he could. His sense of humor and love for life were contagious! Having him around was a symbol that we would all have a good time, with his jokes and laughter.
Unfortunately, on June 20, 2019, everything changed. While attempting to purchase a cell phone during his lunch hour, a cruel human being decided to take his life (all for a cell phone) and turn off that smile, laught and ending all the love he gave as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, neighbor, and friend.
It is an extremely difficult and unexpected moment for the family. We are seeking the support of our community, family and friends to give my father a proper and worthy farewell, a farewell worthy of to the wonderful human he was. Thank you in advance for any cooperation you can offer, as well as for your prayers!
It is not a goodbye father, but a “See you soon!” Even if you are not physically present, you will always live in our hearts. We will say goodbye with tears, but also with a smile and gratitude for having had an opportunity to have you in our lives. Rest in peace!
