In loving memory of Jessica Shaw

 

On Thursday, November 11th 2021 A silver Hyundai Elantra, driven by a 58-year-old Metolius man, was southbound on Highway 97 outside of Terrebonne Oregon when it tried to pass a southbound black Dodge Ram on the shoulder.

When the Elantra reentered the southbound lane, it struck the front of the Dodge Ram, sending the Elantra into the northbound lane, The Elantra then struck a Nissan Pathfinder, driven by 33-year-old Jessica Shaw of Metolius.

The Pathfinder was pushed into the southbound lane when it was struck by a Dodge Tow Truck and Jessica was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene.

 

Jessica leaves behind three beautiful boys, a very large extended family and many, many friends. She touched the lives of so many people and had a heart of gold as described by her family and friends.

 

She loved animals, adventures, exploring outdoors, playing pool, her sweet boys and spending time with her family and friends.

 

Even in the worst of times she was always giving to others. She would do anything for anyone in need and I know so many of you can testify to that.

 

Family is in the process of grieving for their beloved daughter, sister, mother and niece who was selfishly taken at no fault of her own. Not only are they burdened with the fact that Jessica's death could have been prevented but now they have to plan her funeral and decide where her children will live and how they will live without their mother going forward.

 

Today we ask that if you feel led to help the family in their time of need that you would so graciously do so. The proceeds will go towards funeral expenses and the remainder will be put into an account for Jessica's three little boys.
