In loving memory of Jesse Verner

It is with deep sadness that I share that Jesse Verner passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, 9/9/19. Jesse truly lived for his family – his wife Jen, who he was deeply in love with, and their son Jesse Jr., who he would do absolutely anything for. Jesse and Jen were an incredible team and worked together to give Jesse Jr. the best life possible despite the challenges that come with having an autistic child. Jen is now without her partner and best friend. On top of grieving this tremendous loss, she is faced with the financial burden that comes with this loss. As her friend, I am asking for help to cover the costs of Jesse’s memorial service as well as supporting Jen in caring for Jesse Jr.
I feel the best way to pay tribute to this amazing husband and father is to share his own words…
About his wife on their 12th anniversary that just recently passed:
“Falling in love is easy, staying in love isn’t, we’ve done that for 12 years. You will always be my reason. Yes, there’s ups and downs and arguments but that’s how I know our love is real because I can’t picture my life without you. I say it every day, you are the best part of my life. You’re my girl and there is no one else I wanna grow old with. You’re the best wife and most super mom I’ve ever seen. I love you my princess. You’re my best friend in the whole world and I wouldn’t want it any other way!”
On Fatherhood:
“My son is my best gift I could ever receive. I miss the men that are no longer in my life that instilled the way I act and carry out being a father today. He’s my best buddy and he can’t tell me but I know he feels the same way. Parenting is hard, really hard, but there are fathers that are there for their kids and work their asses off and still grind. It’s great and an honor to be this boy’s dad!”
On Jesse Jr. and autism:
“Our little boy has autism he deals with it every day but it does not define him…. This little boy wakes up with a smile on his face every day not knowing many of the trials and tribulations that face him throughout the day that he goes and fights through like a champ. I’m asking all my friends once again to take two minutes out of their day to either recognize or try to relate or try to understand how hard it is for some people to do the mundane. Sometimes we really don’t realize how good we really have it and I include myself in that group. So let’s all get together with wearing blue tomorrow and just not only think about how we could be better people but how we could help people in general and be a better, more understanding human race.”
